Real "Craft", author's beer, own recipes and only natural raw materials. These current brewing trends came to us from across the ocean. Each year the culture of beer consumption evolve rapidly in the CIS countries - the number of private breweries constantly increasing. You will never want to try again the “usual” beer if taste craft beer at least once.
The Brewers repeatedly asking: “How to brew real craft beer? Which brewing equipment to choose, How to establish own craft mini brewery” People often asked us about it for 15 years of our work. Implementing the project, we provide complete package of information about equipment to customers, teach them with art of brewing and calculate the recoupment of investments according to project requirements. In short, the specialists of Heinrich Schultz Company will help you to launch your brewery project from scratch and provide warranty and post-warranty service of equipment. We decided to make a comparative analysis of cheap Chinese and expensive European equipment and dispel all myths and doubts about it.
Chinese equipment or “pig in a poke”
We all understand that everyone always wants the combination of two things: excellent quality and the lowest possible prices. But unfortunately, the quality is always costs money. Everyone knows that the value of Chinese equipment occupies the first place. The cost of the Chinese 100 liters brewery is 30 thousand dollars, while the European version costs between 55-100 thousand euros. The difference in prices caused the fact that Chinese breweries are substandard. In order to acquire a Chinese brewery of high quality it is necessary to find only a reliable facilitator (it’s difficult to do) but there can be problems with warranty service which are associated with geographic of the manufacturer.
European quality and prices
All components of the European brewing equipment in most cases are only European production (motors, pumps, temperature sensors, etc.) Mini-brewery can be framed by natural bog wood, polished copper or stainless steel. These breweries have presentable appearance and modernity but delivery and customs clearance services make their cost three times higher than Chinese. Most European companies do not have offices in CIS countries and it’s greatly complicates the maintenance of the equipment.
Analyzing the Russian manufacturers, we were very surprised by a complete set of offered equipment. The cost of Russian and Ukrainian breweries is on par, but some Russian producers understate the cost of brewery set by reducing the number of fermentation tanks and do not equip them with all the necessary components (steam, sensors, controls etc.). In any case the client will be required to purchase an additional packaging arrangement after a short stint of brewery. Because brewing quantities more than 100 liters per day on "simple" equipment is impossible.
What about the equipment of Heinrich Schultz?
We have found a compromise between quality and price having implemented more than 90 successful projects of Ukraine, Russia, Europe and America. We produce the equipment according to European standards, but significantly lower at a cost because of production in Ukraine. Each brewery has isolation valve of the Czech production, electrical equipment from Germany and South Korea, electric drives from Italy, and the brewery itself is made of Belgian or Finnish stainless steel AISI 304, recommended for use in brewing.
